Status Mary 2010...I love typing the New Year, so much better than 2009! Interests Lately I've been listening to: Old Time Country, Vangelis, Kid Rock I'm currently reading: The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich The last movie I watched was: The Last Tango in Paris with Marlon Brando on TV My must-see show is: None I'd love to visit: Rome, Greece, Italy, Egypt..see it all! I'm curious about: finding out about the world around us. Topping my Wish List is: Happiness Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I love all kinds of Music. The kind I listen to really depends on my mood. I listen to rock, oldies, Big Band, Country, Gospel, all music genres are good. The only thing I can't take is the gangster rap and the new alternative 'stuff'. I just cant' stand it if its too loud or I can't hear the words. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: I read all books. I am a book collector. I would like to start collecting First Editions of Edgar Allen Poe. I have a large collection of Stephen King, John Grisham. My first authors were Eudora Welty, Agatha Christy, Tennessee Williams. I adore O. Henry stories. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: I'm a big fan of scary movies. The scarier, the better. I have not seen a movie that has scared me in a long time. The ones that come close are the Saw series. , I do love old movies, I do like foreign films with subtitles sometimes. I find them to be quite different and engaging. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: Flash Forward, Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch a lot of TV. I do like the History channel, Discovery and NatGeo. Favorite Places: Is where I feel comfortable..my home. I love to stay home, pop some popcorn and curl up with a good book. Especially when it is raining or cold outside. Interests and Activities: surfing the internet, reading, crocheting, walking with someone I love through the woods with my dogs. Genealogy, discovering new places. Wish List: My wish list is very small. I actually worry about others more than myself. My wish list would be to have everyone be able to find some type of peace in their life.
